Manual Transmission

Start engine with transmission in neutral, no vacuum should be indicated. Disengage clutch and increase engine speed to 1000-1500 RPM. Vacuum should read zero. Disengage clutch and place transmission in high gear. With engine running between 1000 and 1500 RPM, a reading of at least 6 in. Hg should occur.
