MOTORCRAFT Single Breaker Point Distributors: Overhaul: Disassembly

Remove terminal cover retainer and cover. Remove rotor and condenser. Remove breaker points and primary terminal block. Remove "C" clip securing vacuum advance diaphragm link to breaker plate. Remove cam attaching screw, vacuum diaphragm attaching screws, and reinforcing plate.
Remove distributor cap clamps. Disconnect link from breaker plate and remove diaphragm. Lift breaker plate and subplate from housing. Remove cam, unhook springs from weights and remove weights and springs.
