Devac System
Fabricate an air evacuator tool as shown in Figure. Make sure that fluid level is correct (add or remove fluid as necessary). Insert rubber stopper of tool tightly into pump filler tube. Connect a length of hose from tool to a vacuum pump.
NOTE:
Do not use engine vacuum.
With vacuum applied, allow engine to idle for about 15 minutes. Do not turn steering wheel during this process. Disconnect and remove tool and reinstall filler cap.
