Key On, Engine Off Test
Turn key on, but do not start engine. Watch voltmeter for code pulses which should appear within 5-30 seconds. Ignore any initial surge of voltage when ignition is turned on. If code 11 is displayed proceed to "Engine Running Test". If any code(s) other than code 11 are displayed, perform test for code(s) indicated and repair problem(s) before proceeding to "Engine Running Test".
NOTE:
If voltmeter does not pulse, but shows steady high or low readings, see "Functional Test Not Operating".
