Key On/Engine Running (KOER) Test

  1. Disconnect grounded jumper wire from self test input. Start engine and run at 2000 RPM for 2 minutes.
    NOTE: If engine will not start, perform No Start Test.
  2. Restart engine and run at idle. Reconnect grounded jumper wire to self test input. Code 20 will be displayed and followed within 60 seconds by the service codes. Observe and record service codes until code 10 is displayed. If engine stalls while testing, perform Symptom Diagnosis Test. If more than 1 code is displayed, correct problems in order that codes were received. Repair codes as follows:
