Air Temperature Sensor

Disconnect plug J1 from the ECA. Connect an ohmmeter between pins 8 and 12 of plug J1. Resistance should be 100-5000 ohms. If resistance is not correct, repair wiring harness or replace airflow meter. Check resistance between pin 8 of plug J1 and ground. If resistance is less than 10,000 ohms, a short to ground is present. Repair as necessary.
