Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

The TPS is mounted on side of throttle body and is connected directly to the throttle shaft. The TPS senses throttle movement and position and transmits an appropriate electrical signal to the ECA. These signals keep the ECA informed of wide open throttle, closed throttle, or normal cruise conditions.
