Output State Not Functioning Test

  1. Turn ignition off and wait 10 seconds. Perform Key On - Engine Off Test. Leave ignition on to enter output state check. Check for codes 23, 53, 63 and/or 68 during the On Demand Test results. If any of the codes are displayed, service as necessary according to the On Demand instructions of the Key On - Engine Off Test. If none of the listed codes are displayed, leave ignition on and proceed with test.
  2. Connect voltmeter negative lead to self-test output connector and positive lead to battery positive post. Depress throttle wide open and release. Apply slight pressure to throttle lever. Measure voltage. If voltage is 10 volts or less, replace TP sensor and repeat Quick Test. If voltage is more than 10 volts, check throttle linkages for sticking or binding, repair as necessary, and repeat Quick Test.
