Key On-Engine Off (KOEO) Test

Turn key on, but do not start engine. Watch voltmeter for code pulses which should appear within 5-30 seconds. Ignore any initial surge of voltage when ignition is turned on. If code 11 is displayed, proceed to "Key On-Engine Running Test". If any code(s) other than code 11 are displayed, perform test for code(s) indicated and repair problem(s) before proceeding to "Key On-Engine Running Test". If voltmeter does not pulse, but shows steady high or low readings, see "Functional Test Not Operating".
