Fuel Cut Valve
- If engine does not stop when ignition switch is turned off or if an insufficient amount of fuel is being delivered to injectors, fuel cut valve may require replacement.
- To check operation of fuel cut valve, disconnect wiring harness connector leading to fuel cut valve and connect a voltmeter.
- Voltage should be present at harness connector when ignition switch is on and should drop to zero immediately after turning ignition switch off.
- If voltage at harness connector is as specified, fuel cut valve is at fault and must be replaced. See Fig 1 .
