Computed Ignition Timing Check Procedure

This checks the system's ability to correctly change and maintain spark timing. Ignition timing will be advanced 20° from base timing. Timing will be locked in through Self-Test and during 2 minute period after end of Self-Test outs.

NOTE: If engine will not start, go to TEST A . If engine stalls while testing, go to Diagnosis By Symptom Test which can be found in specific engine section.
