Leakage Test

  1. Wipe injector tips dry (DO NOT  use fingers). Using injector tester, maintain pressure at 1420-1565 psi (100-110 kg/cm2 ). No fuel leakage should occur. A slight wetting of injector tip after 5 seconds is OK, but if droplets form or fall from injector, it must be replaced.
  2. Operate tester using quick strokes while observing flow from injector return ports. A slight leak-off of 1 or 2 drops per stroke is normal. If fuel squirts from return port, injector must be replaced.
