Fuel Injection System - Multi-Point: Testing: Injectors

Pressurize the fuel system and disconnect the wiring connectors from all 4 injectors. Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the pressure relief valve on the fuel rail. Connect one injector at a time and crank engine for 5 seconds. Record pressure immediately after cranking. Repeat procedure for all 4 injectors. Pressure readings of all injectors should be within 4 psi (.3 kg/cm² ) of each other. If any injector is outside this range it must be replaced.
