Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures: Adjustments: Toe

  1. Loosen clamp bolts at each end of spindle connecting rod tube. Rotate sleeve until correct toe alignment is obtained.
  2. With clamps centered between adjustment sleeve lock ring nibs, position clamp bolts horizontally on bottom of tube and with nuts toward front (rear) of vehicle. See Fig 1 . Tighten sleeve to 35 ft. lbs. (47 N.m).
  3. Recheck toe alignment to ensure no changes have occurred when clamps were tightened. Check that steering wheel is centered.
