Test Ll - Dynamic Response Test

To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that the following non-EEC related areas may be at fault: person testing EEC system did not perform brief wide open throttle (WOT) after Dynamic Response code, mechanical engine problems, or engine did not go over 2000 RPM.

Code 77 Displayed. Repeat KEY ON/ENGINE RUNNING (KOER) SELF-TEST. With SELF-TEST activated, start engine. Code 2 (20 on STAR tester) indicates start of test. After Dynamic Response code 1 (10 on STAR tester) is displayed, perform brief WOT. Dynamic Response service codes will be displayed. If code 77 is still present, replace ECA and repeat QUICK TEST  . If code 77 is not displayed, DYNAMIC RESPONSE TEST passed. Service other codes (if displayed) as required.
