Code 3 - Open Dump Valve Circuit

  1. Unplug computer module connector. Check resistance between ground and terminals No. 8 and 14. Terminals No. 8 and 14 are connected together. If resistance is 1-3 ohms, replace computer module. If resistance is over 3 ohms, unplug electro-hydraulic valve connector.
  2. Check resistance between terminals No. 1 and 3. If resistance is 1-3 ohms, repair open dump solenoid wire at terminal No. 1. If resistance is over 3 ohms, replace electro-hydraulic valve.
