Test D10 - Dynamic Response Test

To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that the following non-EEC related areas may be at fault: person testing EEC system did not perform brief Wide Open Throttle (WOT) after Dynamic Response code, mechanical engine problems, or engine did not go over 2000 RPM.

NOTE: If throttle is snapped open briefly it may not pass the WOT test. Ensure that the throttle is depressed fully to WOT and that engine exceeds 2000 RPM.

Code 77 Displayed: System Failed to Recognize WOT Test

Rerun KOER SELF TEST as follows:

Activate KOER test and start engine.
Observe ID code 2 (0 with STAR tester).
Observe Dynamic Response Code 1 (0 with STAR tester).
Perform WOT.
Testing complete; service code output begins.

If code 77 is still displayed, replace ECA and rerun QUICK TEST . If code 77 is no longer present, vehicle has passed Dynamic Response test; service other codes as necessary.
