ECA 47 - Code 38 (EFE Heater Relay)
- Check for loose connectors, corrosion or damage at EFE heater relay and ECA terminal 2Q. Repair as necessary.
- Check for continuity between EFE heater relay Black/White and Black/Red wire terminals. If continuity does not exist, replace EFE heater relay.
- Check EFE heater relay Black/White lead for battery voltage. If battery voltage is not present, check for open or short in wiring between EFE heater relay and ignition switch.
- Check for continuity between EFE heater relay Black/Red wire terminal and ECA terminal 2Q. If continuity does not exist, check for open in wiring between EFE heater relay and ECA. Repair as necessary. If symptom persists, go to ECA 55 .
- If continuity does exist, check for short in wiring between EFE heater relay and ECA. If no problem is found in wiring, replace ECA.
