ECA 23 - Code 17 - Ego Sensor Feedback System
- Check fuel quantity and quality. Check fuel lines, air cleaner and air intake duct. Confirm proper ignition system operation. Check intake manifold and gaskets.
- Run engine at idle until up to operating temperature. Connect test lamp between Black/White wire and Yellow/Black wire of STO connector. Run engine at 2,500 RPM. If test lamp flashes eight or more times in 10 seconds, replace ECA. If test lamp does not flash eight or more times in 10 seconds, clean/replace EGO sensor. If lamp is off, check for air leaks and/or insufficient fuel flow. If lamp remains on, check for spark and clean plugs and/or excessive fuel flow.
