Fuel Pump Test
The fuel pump may be activated by grounding the fuel pump lead at the SELF-TEST connector. Use a jumper lead, and ground the "FP" terminal with the ignition on. This activates the fuel pump. CAUTION:
Inspect fuel system for leaks or damage before resetting inertia switch or testing fuel pump.
NOTE:
On 5.0L SEFI engine, perform EEC-IV Cylinder Balance Test to check cylinder performance balance condition. See appropriate TESTING article in COMPUTER ENG CONTROL section.
