Test D10 - Dynamic Response

To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that the following non-EEC related areas may be at fault: person testing EEC system did not perform brief Wide Open Throttle (WOT) after Dynamic Response code, mechanical engine problems, or engine did not go over 2000 RPM. This test is intended to diagnose the throttle movement (Minimum 3/4 throttle), Vane Airflow Meter (VAF) open at least 50% and RPM increase greater than 2000 RPM.

NOTE: If throttle is snapped open briefly it may not pass the WOT test. Ensure that the throttle is depressed fully to WOT and that engine exceeds 2000 RPM.

Code 77 Displayed: System Failed to Recognize WOT Test. Rerun KOER SELF TEST as follows:

If Code 77 is still displayed, replace ECA and rerun QUICK TEST. If Code 77 is no longer present, vehicle has passed Dynamic Response test, service other codes as necessary.
