Circuit Test D11 - Turbo OVERBOOST Warning Buzzer
NOTE:
Enter this test only when directed here from other test procedure. This test is intended to diagnose only the following: overboost harness circuit wiring.
- Checking System Integrity - Visually check all wiring, harnesses, connectors and components for evidence of damage, overheating, shorting or looseness. If a fault is found, repair as necessary. If no faults are found, go to next step.
- Checking ECA Ground Function - Install breakout box, leaving ECA disconnected. With KOEO, jumper test pins No. 54 to 44 (ground). If CPU unit "Chimes", go to CIRCUIT TEST B12 , step 1). If not, go to next step.
- Checking Overboost Circuit For Power - DO NOT pierce wire during this test. Leave CPU unit disconnected. With KOEO, ground "Y/W" wire at connector "C210" with jumper. If CPU unit "Chimes", repair "Y/W" wire between CPU unit and ECA. If CPU unit does not chime, repair or replace dash CPU unit as necessary.
