Fuel Pump: Removal

Relieve fuel system pressure. Drain fuel tank. Lower fuel tank enough to disconnect fuel tank hoses and electrical connectors. Disconnect fuel tank hoses and electrical connectors. Remove fuel tank. Using Fuel Tank Sender Wrench (D84P-9275-A), remove fuel pump lock ring. Remove fuel pump.
