Oil Supply
NOTE:
ANYTIME there is evidence of ANY oil contamination, the oil and oil filter must be changed and the turbocharger assembly flushed with clean oil.
Whenever the oil is changed, the turbocharger should be primed prior to engine operation. Disconnect coil secondary wire at distributor cap and ground coil wire. Crank engine (30 seconds maximum per cycle) until oil light goes out or oil pressure gauge indicates positive pressure in system. Reconnect coil wire.
NOTE:
Immediately shutting down an engine that has been operating at high RPM for an extended period of time can damage the engine and/or turbocharger.
