Single Window Switch (All Other Models)

  1. Remove switch from vehicle. Test with a self-powered test light or ohmmeter. With switch in "NEUTRAL" position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 1 and 3, No. 2 and 5, and No. 4 and 6. See Figure .
  2. With the switch pushed downward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 4 and 5, and No. 1 and 3. Terminal No. 6 should be disconnected from any other terminal.
  3. With switch pushed upward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 3 and 5, and No. 4 and 6. Terminal No. 1 should be disconnected from any other terminal. If switch does not test as stated, replace switch.
