Fuel Injector

The fuel injectors are solenoid operated valves that meter fuel flow to the engine. They are mounted in the lower intake manifold and positioned with their tips directing fuel just ahead of the intake valves. Fuel flow to the engine is regulated only by how long the injector solenoid is activated. The injector is normally closed and is activated by the ECA.
