ISSUE: Cars built after 1/18/89 have different EEC processors and engine harnesses than cars built before 1/18/89. The two
(2) different types of EEC processors and engine harnesses are NOT interchangeable. The connector colors of the EEC processor and engine wiring harness MUST match.

ACTION: Refer to one of the following EEC Processor and Engine Harness Connector Replacement Charts for the correct service parts usage.
NOTE: BE SURE THE PARTS INSTALLED HAVE THE WIRE/PIN CONNECTOR COLORS MATCHING THE ENGINE HARNESS.
