STAR Tester

Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Connect color coded adapter cable leads to diagnostic tester. Connect adapter cable's 2 service connectors to vehicle Self-Test and STI connectors. Connect timing light. Go to KOEO SELF-TEST.

With ignition on, connect a jumper wire between STI and pin No. 2 of Self-Test connector. No additional special equipment hookup is required. See Figure .
