- Code Output [Eng. ID(0)-1(0) or No display-11]
KOER Self-Test indicates a PASS. Action to take:- If Continuous Memory Codes were present, Go to CONTINUOUS SELF TEST .
- If Continuous Memory is a PASS Code 11 and a symptom is present, Go to DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM .
- Code Output [Eng. ID(0)-1(0) or No Display-11]
KOER Self-Test indicates a FAULT. Action to take:- Go to KOER service codes. See KOER SELF-TEST - CIRCUIT TEST & STEP MENU (2.3L) under KOER CODE/TEST MENU.
- Always start with the first code displayed.
- Code Output [98-No Display-Any Code(s)]
Code 98 in place of the I.D. code indicates that the vehicle is in FMEM (Failure Mode Effects Management), see FAILURE MODE EFFECTS MANAGEMENT (FMEM), CODE 98 under DIAGNOSTIC AIDS. Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self-Test DID NOT PASS. Engine Running Self-Test will not initiate until a PASS Code 11 is obtained in KOEO Self-Test. Action to take:- Perform Key On Engine (KOEO) Off Self-Test and address all codes displayed. Go to KEY ON ENGINE OFF (KOEO) SELF-TEST .

- Code Output [No Code Display-Codes Not Listed]
Indicates Self-Test did not activate. Action to take:- Rerun Key On Engine Running Self-Test to verify the above condition.
- If condition is still present. Go to D14 - NO CODES/CODES NOT LISTED .
