4.0L Engine
The 4.0L engine uses hydraulic roller lifters and non-adjustable rocker arms. No inspection procedure available.
NOTE:
The following valve clearance check procedure applies to 4.9L, 5.0L, 5.8L and 7.5L engines: adjustment of valve clearance is accomplished by replacing push rods. A .060" (1.52 mm) longer or shorter push rod is available if clearance is more or less than specification.
