Step 2.0 Vehicle Prep & Equipment Hookup: Notes

Apply the vehicle parking brake, place shift lever in Park (A/T) or Neutral (M/T). Block drive wheels. Turn off all electrical loads. Connect any one of the appropriate test equipment to vehicle:

• Volt/Ohm Meter (VOM); Analog or Digital
• Scan Tool
• Star Tester
• Use "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" Light (MIL)
