Test DH: Step 12

12) Check TPS Circuit Continuity  Turn key off and wait 10 seconds. Leave TPS disconnected. Set DVOM on 200-ohm scale and disconnect ECA 60-pin connector. Inspect for and repair any damaged wiring. Install breakout box and connect ECA. Measure resistance between TP circuit at TPS vehicle harness connector and test pin No. 47. If reading is 5 ohms or more, repair open circuit. Remove breakout box, reconnect all components and repeat QUICK TEST. If reading is less than 5 ohms, go to step 14).

NOTE: There is a break in the step numbering sequence at this point, skipping from step 12) to step 14). Break is due to previous chart references to these testing procedures. No test procedures have been omitted.
