Test DJ: Step 4

4) Checking RPM Sensor Harness For Short To Ground  With key off and RPM sensor disconnected, install breakout box leaving ECA disconnected. Set DVOM on 200,000 ohm scale. Measure resistance between test pin No. 4 and test pins No. 37/57, 40 and 44 at the breakout box. Also, measure resistance between test pin No. 44 and test pins No. 37/57 at the breakout box. If either reading is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short circuit. Repeat QUICK TEST. If both readings are 10 k/ohms or more, go to the next step.
