Test DN: Step 10

10) Code 84: Check EVR Solenoid Resistance  Code 84 indicates a fault in the EVR solenoid circuit. Possible causes for this fault are a faulty EVR solenoid or, shorted or open harness. Turn key off and wait 10 seconds. Set DVOM on 200-ohm scale. Disconnect EVR solenoid connector and measure solenoid resistance.

If reading is not within specification, replace EVR solenoid assembly and repeat QUICK TEST. If reading is within specification, go to next step.
