Test DQ: Step 1

1) Code 23: Checking For Stuck Throttle  If directed here by a KOER Code 23, but there is no engine I.D. Code 5.0, go to TEST DJ, Step 1). Visually inspect throttle linkage for binding or sticking. Verify that the throttle linkage is in the Mechanical/Closed position. Inspect throttle linkage and speed control linkage for interference from vacuum lines, wiring harnesses or other obstructions. If all linkages operate freely, go to the next step. If linkages are binding or obstructed, service as necessary.
