Test DQ: Step 3

3) Checking VREF Circuit Voltage  Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Wait 10 seconds. Turn key to "ON" position with engine "OFF". With the FIPL sensor harness connector still disconnected and using a DVOM set at 20 volts, measure voltage between VREF circuit and SIG RTN at the FIPL harness connector. If voltage is between 4-6 volts, go to step 14) for FIPL adjustment procedures. If voltage is not between 4-6 volts, perform TEST C - REFERENCE VOLTAGE, step 1).
