20) CHECK ENGINE Message Displayed If vehicle will not start, go to TEST A, step 1). Perform KOEO Self-Test, if the result is a Pass Code (11-10-11), repair fault in electronic message center Data Communications Link (DCL). If Pass Code is not displayed, service codes as required in Self-Test procedures.
NOTE:
There is a break in the step numbering sequence at this point, skipping from step 20) to step 25). Break is due to previous chart references to these testing procedures. No test procedures have been omitted.
