Fusible Link Circuit

Ensure battery is fully charged and in good condition. Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage at alternator BAT terminal. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, circuit is okay. If no voltage is present, replace fusible link.

NOTE: The fusible link is a short length of insulated wire that is integral with the circuit between the starter solenoid and the alternator.
