Test DH: Step 14

14) Check TP Circuit For Shorts to Ground  Turn key off and wait 10 seconds. Leave TPS disconnected. Ensure both 4EAT module vehicle harness connectors are disconnected (if applicable). Disconnect ECA 60-pin connector. Inspect for and repair any damaged wiring. Install breakout box, leaving ECA disconnected and set DVOM on 200-k/ohm scale. Measure resistance between test pin No. 47 and test pins No. 40, 46 and 60. If either reading is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short circuit, reconnect all components and repeat QUICK TEST. If both readings are 10 k/ohms or more, replace ECA. Remove breakout box, reconnect all components, and repeat QUICK TEST.

NOTE: There is a break in the step numbering sequence at this point, skipping from step 14) to step 20). Break is due to previous chart references to these testing procedures. No test procedures have been omitted.
