Test DQ: Step 91

91) Measuring FIPL Circuit Voltage While Exercising FIPL Sensor  Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Wait 10 seconds. Connect DVOM to STO as in the previous step. See Figure. Disconnect ECA 60-pin connector. Inspect for damaged pins, corrosion, or loose wires. Repair as necessary. Install breakout box. Connect ECA to breakout box. Connect DVOM from test pin No. 47 to test pin No. 46 at the breakout box. Set DVOM to 20 volt scale. Turn key to "ON" with engine off. While observing DVOM, repeat step 90).

If the fault occurs when voltage is below 4.25 volts, disconnect and inspect connectors. If connectors and terminals are good, clear the continuous memory and go back to step 14).

If the fault does not occur below 4.25 volts, verify harness integrity and proceed to the next step.
