3) Continuous Memory Code 18: Check For Other Codes  A Code 18 indicates a loss of IDM input signal to the ECA. Possible causes for this fault are:

• Open or shorted harness
• Faulty DIS module
• Faulty ECA

If Continuous Memory Codes 45, 46 or 48 are present, see DIS or EDIS testing in I - SYS/COMP TESTS. If Codes 45, 46 or 48 are not present, go to next step.
