NOTE: TBI (Throttle Body Injection) may also be referred to as CFI (Central Fuel Injection).

Ensure all basic diagnostic procedures in BASIC TESTING article have been followed. If no faults were found while performing BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES, proceed with self-diagnostics. If no service codes and only pass codes are found during self-diagnostics, proceed to TESTS W/O CODES - EEC-IV article for diagnosis of intermittents or driveability symptoms.
