Keyboard Function Check 1

  1. Ground Black/Light Green wire at instrument keyboard 10-pin connector. Instrument keyboard 10-pin connector is located behind trip computer keyboard. See Figure .
  2. If keyboard works, repair Black/Light Green wire between keyboard and electronic instrument cluster.
  3. If keyboard still does not work, check for 12 volts on Black/Yellow wire at keyboard connector. If 12 volts are present, replace keyboard. If 12 volts are not present, repair Black/Yellow wire between keyboard and fuse panel.
