Keyboard Function Check 4

  1. Using Gauge System Tester (Rotunda 021-00055), connect one lead of tester to Black/Yellow wire at keyboard 10-pin connector.
  2. Instrument keyboard 10-pin connector is located behind trip computer keyboard. See Figure .
  3. Slowly adjust resistance from 0-1000 ohms and back to 0 again. Check to see that METRIC, ETA, SET and RESET functions are working.
  4. If no functions are working, go to KEYBOARD FUNCTION CHECK 5  . If all functions are working, replace keyboard. If some functions are working, replace trip computer.
