Headlight Retractor Doors Do Not Operate
- Turn headlamp switch to HEAD position.
- If headlamps do not raise, check continuity in Black/Blue, Black/Red wire between headlamp switch and retractors motors. Check Black/White wire between main fuse panel and headlamp retractors. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair wiring as necessary, then retest system for normal operation. If wiring is okay, then go to next step.
- Check retractors and linkage for mechanical binding.
- If headlamps raise, turn headlamp switch to OFF position.
- If headlamps do not lower, check linkage for mechanical binding. If headlamps operate as specified, system is functioning properly at this time.
