Fuel Rail - 3.0L: Removal

  1. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE. Remove fuel supply and return lines. See FUEL LINE CONNECTOR. Remove negative battery cable. Remove wiring harness from injectors.
  2. Remove throttle body. See THROTTLE BODY. Remove injector retaining bolts. Carefully disengage fuel rail from injectors. Disconnect vacuum line from fuel pressure regulator. Remove fuel rail assembly.
