IAC Solenoid

Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect solenoid harness connector. Set DVOM to 200 ohm scale. Measure resistance between solenoid terminals. Resistance should be 50-100 ohms. Set DVOM to 20 k/ohm scale. Measure resistance between each IAC solenoid terminal and solenoid case. Resistance should be greater than 100 k/ohms. If resistance in either test is not as specified, replace solenoid.
