Pinpoint Test B4 - Circuit Short/VAPS Check

Leave VAPS control module disconnected. Disconnect battery. Set VOM on 200K/ohm scale. Measure resistance between Yellow/Blue wire in VAPS control module connector and chassis ground. Measure resistance between Yellow/Blue wire and Black/Green wire. If resistance is more than 10K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q1  through PINPOINT TEST Q7  . If resistance is NOT within specification, repair Yellow/Blue wire between coil and control module for short to ground.
