Pinpoint Test D5 - Short To VAPS Control Module

Turn ignition on. Put transmission in Park. Disconnect VAPS control module connector and instrument panel connector. Set VOM on 200K/ohm scale. Measure resistance between Green/Red wire in VAPS control module connector and ground. If resistance is less than 10K ohms, service Green/Red wire between instrument panel and module for shorts. If resistance is NOT less than specification, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q1  through PINPOINT TEST Q7  .
