Vane Air Flow Temperature (Vat) Sensor (2.2L Probe)

When testing VAT sensor, ensure ambient temperature is greater than 50° F. Disconnect suspect temperature sensor. Set DVOM to 20 k/ohm scale. Measure resistance between sensor terminals. Refer to VAT SENSOR VOLTAGE & RESISTANCE SPECS (PROBE 2.2L)  table for voltage and resistance specifications. See Fig 1 .
